I can’t tell you the numerous things that I have learned since arriving on the Big Island of Hawaii. There are too many to count since my attachment to this island grows daily, sometimes hourly. Granted, I live on an island that most would deem paradise. Okay, there’s that–the constant perfect weather, the warm water, the smell of flowers everywhere you walk, the fact that you can plant ANYTHING and it will be higher than your head in a month or two, the sunsets, the constant dolphin show…and many, many, other things.

So I do this every couple of months (if I feel like I’m a little more lax than I want to be or if I feel I’ve gained a couple of pounds).  So I’ll begin to tell you how I lose the leniency weight.  Continue reading
